USING THE JOB SHARING SECTION OF FREELIST
IMPORTANT GUIDANCE
Members who wish to advertise their availability for work on a job-sharing basis can list in the Job Sharing section at the top of the list. This will mostly be part-time work.
.• Members should only list in this section if they wish to have offers of work on a job-sharing (i.e. part-time) basis.
• You should be aware that you can only list in ONE SECTION. If you are listed with the job shares you will NOT be listed in the general section. Some employers who are not interested in offering job sharing opportunities may not see your listing in the job sharing section
• If you list in the job sharing section you should expect to be approached by employers about job-sharing opportunities, so put some thought into how you might be able to make this work if you don’t already have a partner
• DO consider approaching potential job sharing partners (you could maybe reach out to others on the Freelist Job Sharing section). You should consider doing this before you list with the Job Shares.
• DO NOT list in the Job Shares section if you are looking for full time jobs, or a mixture of jobs. Just write ‘job sharing considered’ in preferences and list in the main general list.
